WARNING: PUT THE PROTECTIVE COVERS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE
_______ SQUIBS. IF YOU DO NOT PUT PROTECTIVE COVERS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIBS, THE FIRE BOTTLES CAN RELEASE ITS CONTENTS SUDDENLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT PUT SHUNT PLUGS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIBS. THE SHUNT PLUGS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SQUIB PINS.

Put the protective cover on all the fire bottle squibs.

Make sure the circuit breaker 6K1 MN BAT HOT BUS P6 CONT on the (P6) main power distribution panel is closed.

Make sure the battery is connected.

NOTE: This is to energize the hot battery bus with 28 volts DC.

(9) Make sure the main battery switch on the P5 panel is in the ON position (AMM 24-22-00/201).
NOTE: This is to energize the main battery bus with 28 volts DC.

2) 6H2, FIRE EXTINGUISHER ENG 1&3 A
3) 6H3, FIRE EXTINGUISHER ENG 2&4 B
4) 6H4, FIRE EXTINGUISHER ENG 2&4 A
5) 6L4, FLT DECK LIGHT CAPT IND

Engine Fire Extinguisher Bottle Squib Discharge Circuit Test

Connect the multimeter to the squib text box.

With the toggle switch on the squib test box in the ON position, measure the resistance and record (RL).

Attach the adapter cable to the squib test box.
(4)
Set the toggle switch on the squib test box to OFF.

Do these steps, using the data in the table.

(a) Connect the adapter cable for the squib test box to the connector on the fire bottle squib shown in the Squib Circuit Test table.
