LOWER CARGO COMPARTMENT FIRE EXTINGUISHER BOTTLE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains three tasks. The first task quickly discharges the remaining extinguishing agent in the metered fire bottles from a partially discharged fire bottle. The second task removes the fire bottles in the lower cargo compartment. The third task installs the fire bottles in the lower cargo compartment.
B. There are four fire extinguisher bottles installed aft of the forward cargo door on the right side of the lower cargo compartment. The two small bottles each have a volume of 1400 cubic inches. The two large bottles each have a volume of 2170 cubic inches.
