WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE AND TE
_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. IF THE FLAPS MOVE INJURY TO PERSONS CAN OCCUR.
WARNING: INSTALL LOCKS TO PREVENT MOVEMENT OF THE FLAPS
_______ (AMM 27-81-00/201). IF THE LOCKS ARE NOT INSTALLED INJURY TO PERSONS CAN OCCUR.

Extend the wing leading edge flaps to get access to the engine bottle electrical connectors.

Install safety locks on all extended leading edge flaps where persons are near (AMM 27-81-00/201).

Cross-Connected Tube Check

Disconnect the outboard discharge line of the outboard bottle.

Disconnect the inboard discharge line of the inboard bottle.

Supply shop air to the inboard discharge line of the inboard bottle.
NOTE: As shop air moves the ball on the Check-T, a click can be

Make sure the air flows out of the discharge nozzles at the outboard strut No. 1.

F. Strut System Leakage Check

CAUTION:_______PLUGS MUST BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND 50 PSI. IF THE PLUGS CAN NOT WITHSTAND 50 PSI THEN THE PLUGS COULD LET GO AND CAUSE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(1)
Install plugs in the forward and aft nozzles at the outboard strut No. 1.
(2)
Supply 50 psi to the inboard discharge line of the inboard bottle.

(4) S 865-084Release the pressure.
(5) S 865-085Supply 50 psi to the outboard discharge line of the outboard bottle.
(6) S 785-086Make sure there are no leaks at each tube joint.
