(23) Push and hold the manual override pressure switch, or insert the hex key into the bottle pressure switch cam and turn the key with a maximum of 5.7 pound-inch on the APU fire bottle.
(a) Make sure the APU BTL DISCH light on the fire control module, M7326 (P5), comes on.

(24) Release the manual override pressure switch, or the hex key.
(a) Make sure the APU BTL DISCH light goes off on the fire control module, M7326 (P5).

(25) Close these circuit breakers:
(a) P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6H5 FIRE EXTINGUISHER APU
2) 6L4 FLIGHT DECK LIGHT CAPT IND

(26) Push and hold the TEST 1 switch on the squib test module, M7327, on the P461 panel.
(a) Make sure the squib indicating light for the APU comes on (green).

(27) Release the TEST 1 switch.
(a) Make sure the indicating light goes off.

(28) Push and hold the TEST 2 switch on the squib test module, M7327.
(a) Make sure the squib indicating light for the APU comes on (green).

WARNING:_______PUT THE PROTECTIVE COVERS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIBS. IF YOU DO NOT PUT THE PROTECTIVE COVERS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIBS, THE FIRE BOTTLE CAN RELEASE ITS CONTENTS SUDDENLY AND CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
CAUTION:_______DO NOT PUT SHUNT PLUGS ON THE FIRE BOTTLE SQUIBS. THE SHUNT PLUGS CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SQUIB PINS.

Put the protective covers on all the fire bottle squibs.

(a) P7 panel 1) 7F23 LANDING GEAR DSP & CONT ALTN 2) AIRPLANES WITH DUAL CARGO HEAT OR AFT CARGO AIR

(6) Make sure the CARGO FIRE ARMED and DISCH lights on the fire control module M7326 on the P5 pilot's overhead panel are off.
K. Forward Cargo Bay Fire Bottle Test

(1) Connect electrical connector DM7906B, for the bottle A forward squib, to the squib test box.
