 WARNING:_______USE EAR PROTECTION IN THE AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT. THE HIGH NOISE LEVEL OF THE EJECTOR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
 (1)  
Install the ejector on the mounting brackets with the four ejector mounting screws.

 (2)
Connect the air supply line from the pneumatic crossover duct.

Attach the rubber tube from the main vacuum supply line to the ejector with the clamps.

 NOTE:____ These switches must be in the RUN position for 5 minutes before the EICAS messages in the subsequent steps will show. The engine fuel control switches for engines 2 and 3 must be in the CUTOFF position.

 (10) After 5 minutes do the steps that follow:
 (a)  Make sure the EICAS CARGO DET AIR advisory and EICAS status message show.

 (11) Pressurize the pneumatic crossover duct (AMM 36-00-00/201).
 (a)  Make sure the pneumatic crossover duct is pressurized.

 (12) Make sure the EICAS status message, CARGO DET AIR LL1 and CARGO DET AIR LL2, do not show.
 NOTE: If the EICAS status message, CARGO DET AIR LL1 or
____ CARGO DET AIR LL2 , shows but the EICAS advisory message, CARGO DET AIR, does not show, then the status message is latched from before. Erase the status message and continue the test.

 Visually make sure the plumbing connections are correct and there are no air leaks on the ejector.

 Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
