FIRE CONTROL MODULE - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains three tasks. These tasks remove and test install the fire control module, M7326, and the cap assembly for the fire shutoff switch.
B. The fire control module is found on the pilots' overhead panel, P5, in the control cabin. This module has the components that follow.
(1)
The switch handles for the engine fire extinguisher:
(a) The handle light comes on when there is an engine fire. You manually turn the switch handle to let the extinguisher agent come out of the extinguisher.
(2)
The engine bottle discharge lights:
(a) The lights come on when the extinguisher agent releases.
(3)
The APU switch handle:
(a) The handle light comes on when there is an APU fire. You manually turn the switch to release the extinguisher agent.
(4)
The APU bottle discharge light:
(a) The light comes on when the extinguisher agent releases.
(5)
The cargo discharge button:
(a) Push this button to release the fire extinguisher agent for the lower cargo area.
