SMOKE DETECTOR PRESSURE SWITCH - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks. The first task removes the pressure switch, S2259 or S2275, connected to the venturi ejector in the aft lower cargo compartment or the aft lower cargo compartment. The second task installs the pressure switch.

(1)
Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a) P7 Overhead Circuit Breaker Panel
1) 7H14, CARGO SMOKE DETECT LWR A
2) 7H15, CARGO SMOKE DETECT LWR B
(2)
Depressurize the pneumatic crossover duct (AMM 36-00-00/201).

WARNING:_______USE EAR PROTECTION IN THE AFT CARGO COMPARTMENT. THE HIGH NOISE LEVEL OF THE EJECTOR CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.
(3) Remove the floor panel in the fwd lower cargo compartment at STA 970 to gain access to the S2259 ejector or the aft lower cargo compartment at STA 1530 to gain access to the S2259 ejector.

Disconnect the electrical connector, DS2259 (fwd ejector) or DS2275 (aft ejector), from the pressure switch.

Disconnect the vacuum sense line from the ejector and the pressure switch.

Remove the four screws that hold the switch to the ejector.

Remove the pressure switch.
