_______ FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER.

(9) Do these steps to do a test of the squib assembly installation:
(a)
Make sure that the airplane has electrical power.
(b)
Push and hold the TEST 1 switch on the squib test module M7327 on the overhead maintenance panel (P461) to examine the bottle A squibs. 1) Make sure that the ENG 1, 2, 3, and 4 lights go on.
(c)
Push and hold the TEST 2 switch on the squib test module M7327 on the overhead maintenance panel (P461) to examine the bottle B squibs. 1) Make sure that the ENG 1, 2, 3, and 4 lights go on.

(10) Put the airplane in it's usual condition.
(a) Remove the electrical power from the airplane if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).

A. This procedure does a check of the squibs installed in the engine fire bottles.

A. General
(1)
There are two squibs installed on each of the fire bottles M228, M229, M230, and M231. These fire bottles are installed in the leading edge of the wing. To get access to these bottles, you have to extend the leading edge flaps.
