Make sure the voltage at test pin F or test jack 6 is |0.01 volt of the voltage that you read from Figure 502.

 (7)  Do this test of the FLT-GRD switch (test pin G or test jack 7):
 (a)  
Set the FLT-GRD switch to GRD.

 (b)  
Make sure that this circuit breaker on panel P6 is closed: 1) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS

 (c)  
Make sure the voltage at test pin G or test jack 7 is 20 to 31 volts dc.


 NOTE: If there is no voltage at test pin G or test jack 7,
____ examine for an open ground on the ground sensor. The ground sensor is in the switch circuit for the landing gear strut (Chapter 32).
 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE
_______ LEADING EDGE SLATS. WHEN RELAYS ON THE LANDING GEAR GET INPUT OF AN AIRBORNE CONDITION, THE LEADING EDGE SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY. YOU MUST PUT THE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THE LEADING EDGE SLATS IN A DISCONNECTED CONDITION TO PREVENT ACCIDENTAL MOVEMENT. THE ACCIDENTAL MOVEMENT OF THE LEADING EDGE SLATS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (d)  
Disconnect the control system for the leading edge slats (AMM 27-81-00/201).

 (e)  
Open this circuit breaker on the P6 panel:
 1) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS


 (f)  
Make sure the voltage at test pin G or test jack 7 is less than 2 volts dc.

 (g)  
Close this circuit breaker on the P6 panel:
 1) LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS

 (h)  
Make sure the voltage at test pin G or test jack 7 is 20 to 31 volts dc.

 (i)  
Set the FLT-GRD switch to FLT.

 (j)  
Make sure the voltage at test pin G or test jack 7 is less than 2 volts dc.

 (8)  Do this test of the potentiometer wiper (test pin H or test jack 8) for the air data computer:
 (a)  
Get the field pressure for the day.
 1) Write the field pressure.


 (b)  
AIRPLANES WITH PRESSURE CONTROLLER CPC22; Multiply the field pressure by -0.4836 volt/inch Hg or by -0.0143 volt/mbs, as applicable.

 (c)  
AIRPLANES WITH PRESSURE CONTROLLER CPC21; Multiply the field pressure by -0.6448 volt/inch Hg or by -0.0191 volt/mbs, as applicable.


 CAUTION: SET THE VOLTMETER AT THE CORRECT VOLTAGE ADJUSTMENT BEFORE
_______ YOU CONNECT THE VOLTMETER TO THE TEST PINS. DO NOT ADJUST THE VOLTMETER AFTER YOU CONNECT THE VOLTMETER TO THE TEST PINS. YOU CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE AIR DATA COMPUTER IF YOU DO NOT OBEY.
 (d)  
Set the voltmeter to measure voltages from -10 volts DC to -25 volts DC.

 (e)  
AIRPLANES WITH PRESSURE CONTROLLER CPC22;
 Measure the voltage from test pin H to test pin N.


 (f)  
AIRPLANES WITH PRESSURE CONTROLLER CPC21;
 Measure the voltage from test jack 8 to test jack 13.


 (g)  
Make sure that the voltage that you measured is +/- 0.1 volt of the voltage that you calculated by multiplication.

 (9)  Do this test of the brake voltage (test pin J or test jack 9) of the AC actuator motor:
 (a)  
Set the mode selector switch to AUTO.

 (b)  
Make sure the voltage at test pin J or test jack 9 is 19 to 33 volts dc.

 (c)  
Set the mode selector switch to STBY.

 (d)  
Make sure the voltage at test pin J or test jack 9 is less than 2 volts dc.

 (e)  
Set the mode selector switch to AC MAN.

 (f)  
Set the FLT-GRD switch GRD.

 (g)  
Set the toggle switch for the outflow valve to CLOSE and then to OPEN.

 (h)  
Make sure the voltage at test pin J or test jack 9 is 19 to 33 volts dc.
