D. Procedure

(1) Connect the external conditioned air source:
(a)
Open this access door, 1304 (Ref 12-31-21/201).
(b)
Attach the external conditioned air supply hose to the ground service conditioned air supply flange.
(c)
Turn the conditioned air supply hose connector to lock it in position.

(2) If a control cabin window or an entry door cannot be left open because of weather conditions, etc., do these steps:
(a)
Supply electrical power to the airplane (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(b)
Set the pressurization MODE SELECTOR switch on the P5-6 Pressurization Control Panel to MAN AC or MAN DC.

(c) Use the toggle switch on the P5-6 Pressurization Control Module to manually open the outflow valve.
NOTE: Look at the indicator on the P5-6 Pressurization

Supply conditioned air from the external source to the airplane.

Remove the external conditioned air source:
(a)
Stop the external conditioned air source.
(b)
Rotate the conditioned air supply hose connctor to unlock the connector from the groud service connection flange.
(c)
Remove the conditioned air supply hose.
(d)
Close the open access panel, 1304 (Ref 12-31-21/201).
(e)
Remove the electrical power from the airplane if it is no longer necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

3. Airplane Air-Conditioning Packs To Supply Conditioned Air

A. General
(1) Two air-conditioning packs are used to supply heated or cooled air to the airplane. The two air-conditioning packs operate the same. Only one of the air-conditioning packs is described below.
