(1)
Make sure that the seals are bonded to the panel assembly.
S 964-008
(2)
If the seals are not bonded to the panel assembly, replace the panel assembly or repair the bond.
S 424-009
(3)
Put the valve on the aft side of the bulkhead panel and the spacer ring on the forward side.

(4)
Install the screws, washers, and nuts (11 locations) to hold the valve on the panel assembly.

(5)
Put the bulkhead grille on the forward side of the bulkhead panel and install the screws (11 locations).
NOTE: Make sure that the gasket is bonded to the grille.

CEILING BLOWOUT PANELS - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks. The first task gives instructions for the removal of the blowout panel. The second task gives instructions for the installation of the blowout panel.
B. Two blowout panels are in the ceiling of the aft cargo compartment. One blowout panel is installed in the ceiling of the forward cargo compartment. Each blowout panel must have the correct stencil on it.

(1) Make a mark on all sides of the blowout panel along the edge of the cap strip.
NOTE: The marks will help in the installation of the blowout panel.

(2) Remove longer lengths of the cap strip than the dimensions of the blowout panel.
NOTE:____The cap strips do not have to be fully removed. Long cap strips can be loosened along the lengths of the blowout panel.
