 (10) Do this check with the pack in AUTO (Right Pack):
 (a)  
Set the R PACK switch to AUTO.

 (b)  
When the APU EGT is stable, write down the EGT as
 Temperature #5.


 (c)  
AIRPLANES WITH GARRETT APU MODELS GTCP85-129C,-129E,-129F; Make sure that the difference between the Temperature #1 APU EGT and the Temperature #5 APU EGT is between the MINIMUM and MAXIMUM curves shown in Figure 502.

 (d)  
AIRPLANES WITH GARRETT APU MODELS GTCP85-129H,-129J,-129K; Make sure that the difference between the Temperature #1 APU EGT and the Temperature #5 APU EGT is |40°C of the APU EGT shown in Figure 502 for the LOW FLOW curve.

 (e)  
Make sure that the duct pressure shown on the P5-10 panel is more than 27 psi.

 (f)  
Move the R PACK switch to OFF.

 (g)  Connect the electrical connector, D712, to the 35°F control sensor on the right water separator.
 NOTE: The 35°F control valve will close.

 F. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

This procedure has the steps to test the 35°F control system.

This procedure supplies a quick check of the system performance for scheduled maintenance checks and to troubleshoot flight operation problems.
