CHECK VALVE (COLD AIR) - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. Two tasks are supplied in this procedure. The first task is the removal of the check valve in the outlet duct from the air conditioning pack. The second task is the installation of the check valve.
B. The two check valves are installed in the distribution bay just upstream of the mix muff.

WARNING:_______REMOVE THE PRESSURE FROM THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM. PRESSURE IN THE PNEUMATIC SYSTEM CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Remove the pressure from the pneumatic system (AMM 36-05-00/201).

Remove the center panel on the aft bulkhead in the forward cargo compartment to get access to the check valve.
