(6) Set the controls for the pressurization control system:
(a)
Set the mode selector to AUTO.
(b)
Set the FLT/GRD switch to GRD.
(c)
Set the CAB ALT selector to 500 feet above the field altitude.
(d)
Set the captain's standby altimeter to the barometric pressure of the field.
(e)
Set the CABIN RATE selector to the position with the triangle.

(7) Set the LIGHTS switch on the P2 panel to TEST and make sure these lights come on:

OFF SCHED DESCENT

CAUTION: KEEP HANDS AND TOOLS AWAY FROM THE OUTFLOW VALVE DURING THE
_______ TEST. THE OUTFLOW VALVE WILL MOVE, AND CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS.

Attach a KEEP CLEAR tag on or near the outflow valve.

Make sure the VALVE position indicator shows the aft outflow valve is open.

Visually make sure the forward outflow valve is open.

Set the FLT/GRD switch to FLT and make sure the VALVE position indicator shows the aft outflow valve closes.
NOTE: Approximately ten seconds after you set the FLT/GRD
____ switch to FLT, the VALVE position indicator shows movement.

Visually make sure that the forward outflow valve is closed.

Visually make sure that the forward outflow valve opens.

Move the CAB ALT selector to 500 feet below the field level.
