Measure the electrical resistance at the terminal 2 of the AFT OUTFLOW HEATER circuit breaker.

Make sure the electrical resistance at terminal 2 is 25 to 45 ohms.

Do these steps if the electrical resistance at terminal 2 is not 25 to 45 ohms:
(a) Apply a source of cold air or a heat sink to the thermostat until the electrical resistance is 25 to 45 ohms.
NOTE: The temperature of the cold air or heat sink must be
____ approximately 32°F (0°C). The location of the thermostat is shown in Fig. 201.

Close the AFT OUTFLOW HEATER circuit breaker on the P6-4 panel.
(7)
Make sure the thermostat opens in less than 10 minutes.
(8)
Open the AFT OUTFLOW HEATER circuit breaker again.
(9)
Measure the electrical resistance at the terminal 2 again.

(1) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a) P6-4 panel 1) PRESSURIZATION CONTROL (6 locations) 2) OUTFLOW VALVE HEATER

(2) Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

NOTE: Make sure the gasket is installed with the thermostat
____ installed on the forward side of the outflow valve and towards the outboard end of the valve.

(2) Make the wires of the gasket and the ship's wiring into a splice.
NOTE: Keep the length of the wires the same as the initial wires.

Install the cabin pressurization outflow valve (Ref 21-31-11/401).

Do the adjustment/test procedure for the gasket.
