WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LEADING
_______ EDGE SLATS. THE LEADING EDGE SLATS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS ARE PRESSURIZED, THE TRAILING EDGE FLAPS ARE AT POSITION 1,2 OR 5, AND WHEN THE AIR/GROUND RELAYS FOR THE NOSE/MAIN LANDING GEAR DETECT AN AIR MODE CONDITION. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Open the bay doors to the air conditioning equipment.

Make sure that all the circuit breakers for the air conditioning system are closed.

Make sure that these circuit breakers are closed on the P6-3 panel:
(a)
MASTER CAUTION (all except FUEL, if installed)
(b)
INDICATOR LIGHTS, MASTER DIM BUS (9 locations)
(c)
DIM & TEST (1 location)
(d)
NOSE GEAR AIR/GND
(e)
LANDING GEAR AIR/GND RELAY & LTS

Make sure that the L PACK and R PACK switches are at OFF, on the P5-10 panel.

Lower the wing flaps to the FLAPS 1 position or more (AMM 27-51-00/001).

Move the APU BLEED switch to OFF, on the P5-10 panel.

Move the engine BLEED 1 and engine BLEED 2 switches to ON, on the P5-10 panel.

Make sure that the L PACK and R PACK switches are at OFF.

Do this test of the 390°F ACM Compressor Discharge switches, S2 and S5:
(a) Disconnect the electrical connectors, D532 and D538, from the left and right switches, S2 and S5, respectively.
CAUTION: USE TWO WRENCHES TO REMOVE THE SWITCH FROM THE BOSS ON THE
