(5) Remove the recirculation fan:
(a)
Remove the electrical connector.
(b)
Remove the ground strap.
(c)
Remove the clamps.
(d)
Remove the sleeves.
(e)
Remove the recirculation fan.
(f)
Put covers on the duct openings to prevent the entry of unwanted material.

Remove the duct covers.

Install the recirculation fan between the mix manifold and the plenum:
NOTE: Make sure the flow arrow points at the mix manifold.

Install the sleeves.
(b)
Loosely install the clamps.
(c)
Connect the electrical connector.
NOTE: Turn the recirculation fan until the wire bundle has

no tension.
(d)
Tighten the clamps.
(e)
Install the ground strap.

D. Do a Test of the Recirculation Fan

(1) Close these circuit breakers:
(a) P6-4 Load Control Circuit Breaker Panel
1) CABIN AIR RECIRCULATION FAN
2) RECIRC FAN CONT

(2) Make sure these circuit breakers are closed:
(a) P6-4 Load Control Circuit Breaker Panel
1) R PACK VALVES
2) L PACK VALVES

(3) Make sure these switches are in the OFF position:
(a) P5-10 Air-Conditioning Module
1) R PACK
2) L PACK

(4) Do a test of the recirculation fan:
(a)
Set the RECIRC FAN switch to the AUTO position. 1) Make sure the recirculation fan operates.
(b)
Set the RECIRC FAN switch to the OFF position. 1) Make sure the recirculation fan stops.
E. Put The Airplane Back To Its Usual Condition

(1) Install these access panels:
(a)
Access Panel, Center - Forward Cargo Compartment, Aft Bulkhead
(b)
Access Panel, Right - Forward Cargo Compartment, Aft bulkhead

(2) Remove the electrical power from the airplane if it is no longer necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).

A. One task is supplied in this procedure. Do an operationl test of the recirculation fan system in that task.
