(3) Set these switches as follows:
(a) P5-10 Air-Conditioning Module
1) L PACK - AUTO
2) R PACK - AUTO
3) RECIRC FAN - OFF
4) BLEED 1 - ON
NOTE: The BLEED 1 switch must be set to the ON position
____ if the flaps are not up. If the flaps are up, the BLEED 1 switch set to the ON position is not necessary.

E. Procedure

(1) Do an operational test of the recirculation fan system:
(a)
Set the RECIRC FAN switch to the AUTO position. 1) Make sure the recirculation fan operates.
(b)
Disconnect the D486 electrical connector from the left pack flow control and shutoff valve (L Pack Valve). 1) Make sure the recirculation fan continues to operate.
(c)
Disconnect the D490 electrical connector from the right pack flow control and shutoff valve (R Pack Valve). 1) Make sure the recirculation fan continues to operate.
(d)
Set the R PACK switch to the HIGH position.
1) Make sure the recirculation fan stops.
(e)
Set the R PACK switch to the AUTO position. 1) Make sure the recirculation fan operates.
(f)
Set the L PACK switch to the HIGH position.
1) Make sure the recirculation fan stops.
(g)
Set the L PACK switch to the AUTO position. 1) Make sure the recirculation fan operates.
