A. Preparation for Installation

Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Make sure that all placards of the retained/new components are in the correct position and in good condition.

(4) If necessary install new placards, (Ref. TASK 11-00-00-400-007) and (Ref. AMM 11-32-25 P.Block 001).

(5) Clean the component interface and the floor covering with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003).

B. Install the Seat Assembly
(Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 25-22-43-991-001)
(1)
Install the new packings (3) and the bushes (2).
(2)
Put the seat assembly (1) in position.
(3)
Apply COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-002) on the bolts (5).
(4)
Install the washers (4) and the bolts (5).
(5)
Remove the blanking caps from the electrical connectors.
(6)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(7)
Connect the electrical connector (8) to the electrical connector (7).
(8)
Close the door (6).
(9)
Get a synthetic fibre cord MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-002).
(10) Cut a piece of the cord to the required length. NOTE : The cord must be 100 mm (3.9370 in.) longer than the length of
____ the perimeter of the emergency-equipment storage-box.

Make a loop in the end of the cord. NOTE : This step is done to help the next removal procedure.

Put the cord around the perimeter of the emergency-equipment storage-box between the seat and the floor.

(13) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) to the area between the floor and the seat.

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 153RH, 162RH.
