R (a) Set the working temperature of the HOT AIR BLOWER MAX OPERATING
R 370 DEG C (700 DEG F) between 160 deg.C (320.00 deg.F) and 200
R deg.C (392.00 deg.F).
R (b) Cut the welding rod some centimeters / inches longer than the
R necessary length.
R (c) Welding procedure with speed welding nozzle (Step 2):
R CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT:_______
R - THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HOT AIR BLOWER IS NOT TOO HIGH
R - THE BLOWER DOES NOT MOVE TOO SLOWLY ALONG THE WELD.
R HIGH TEMPERATURES OR SLOW MOVEMENT OF THE HOT AIR
R BLOWER CAN BURN THE MATERIAL.
R 1_ Put the welding rod into the inlet of the speed welding
R nozzle.
R 2_ Move the speed welding nozzle with light pressure and constant
R speed along the groove.
R (d) Welding procedure with hand roller (Step 2A):
R CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT:_______
R - THE TEMPERATURE OF THE HOT AIR BLOWER IS NOT TOO HIGH
R - THE BLOWER DOES NOT MOVE TOO SLOWLY ALONG THE WELD.
R HIGH TEMPERATURES OR SLOW MOVEMENT OF THE HOT AIR
R BLOWER CAN BURN THE MATERIAL.
R 1_ Put the end of the welding rod into the groove.
R 2_ Point the hot air blower directly at the lifted part of the
R welding rod.
R 3_ Push the welding rod into the groove with a hand roller. Use a
R light pressure.
R 4_ At the same time, move the hot air blower and the hand roller
R along the groove at a constant speed.
R (e) When the welding rod is sufficiently cool, remove the unwanted
R weld with a spatular trimming knife. Make a smooth surface.

R (5) Apply primer:
R WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE_______
R THIS/THESE MATERIAL/S.
R USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES, GOGGLES AND A MASK.
R NOTE : The following procedure is only applicable for PUR or PVC____
R NTF-Covering. It is not permitted to use it for Silicone NTF.
R Apply the primer only where the sealant (15) will be applied.
R (a) Make sure that the NTF surface is dry, dust and oil free. If
R necessary clean the surface with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No.
R 11-004).
R (b) Install a Masking Tape around the edges and cut-outs of the NTF
R sheets, where the primer will be applied.
R (c) Apply primer BONDING AND ADHESIVE COMPOUNDS (Material No. 08-057)
R with a BRUSH - BRISTLED, SMALL:
R - Into the space between the NTF-assy (10) and interior equipment
R - Around all outer NTF contours equipment (toilet, galley, etc.).
R - Around all cut-outs.
R (6) Apply Sealant (15):
R WARNING : OBEY THE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS WHEN YOU USE_______
R THIS/THESE MATERIAL/S.
R USE PROTECTIVE CLOTHING, RUBBER GLOVES AND GOGGLES.
R (a) Apply a bead of sealant SEALANTS (Material No. 09-036) to:
R - All outer NTF contours
R - The gap between NTF and interior equipment (toilet, galley,
R etc.).
R - All cut outs
R Refer to the Color Code Table
R (b) Remove the unwanted sealant with a SPATULA - NON METALLIC
R immediately.
R (c) Remove the masking tape.
