R (e) Remove the protective paper from the NTF assy (10) and install it
R to the Moisture Barrier Foil (MYLAR) (4) / Floor Panels (6).
R (f) Install the NTF-covering on the Moisture Barrier Foil (MYLAR) (4)
R with a soft cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003) and
R a light pressure of your hand. Work from the middle of the NTF
R and press towards the edges to prevent wrinkles or air pockets.
R (g) Install the NTF assy (10) with a ROLLER - RUBBER. Work from the
R middle of the NTF assy (10) to the sides, backwards and forwards
R and around the edges for a better bond.
R (h) Do the steps (3) (c) thru (g) until you have installed all of the
R NTF assy (10) to the floor panel (6).
R (3) Preparation of Welding area:
R (Ref. Fig. 405/TASK 25-28-42-991-013)
R (a) Chamfer the edges of the NTF-covering at the joints with a
R TRIANGLE. Make a groove in the shape of a "V" with an angle of
R approximately 30 on the NTF edges. A stainless steel or
R aluminiuim flexible ruler will help to make a straight groove.
R CAUTION : DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE MOISTURE BARRIER FOIL_______
R (MYLAR).
R NOTE : The depth of the groove must not be deeper than 2/3 of the____
R floor covering tickness.
R (b) Remove loose particles out from the groove. Use a vacuum cleaner
