A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The first task is the removal of the latch actuator from the lower lobe cargo door.
(2)
The second task is the installation of the latch actuator on the lower lobe cargo door.

CAUTION:_______IN CASE THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN, STOP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH. HOLDING THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH MAY DAMAGE THE ACTUATOR. WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE BEFORE SECOND ATTEMPT. IF THE DOOR STILL DOES NOT OPEN, WAIT AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD ATTEMPT.
(1) Open the cargo door sufficiently to get access to the cargo compartment.
NOTE: Open the cargo door manually if electrical power is off.
____ Bypass the jammed latch actuator if it is necessary (Ref 52-34-00/001).
