(b)
Make sure you observe these conditions: 1) The master latch lock handle is in the unlocked (open)
position. 2) The two pressure relief doors are open.

3) The master latch lock sectors have turned outboard to clear the latch cams.
(c) Push the master latch lock handle to the locked (closed) position.
(d) Make sure you observe these conditions: 1) The master latch lock sectors have rotated inboard so that the inboard heel of the sector is inboard of the latch cam throat and the outboard end of the sector extends into the cutout in the lower beam of the door.
2) The two pressure relief doors are closed. 3) The master latch lock handle and the trigger are flush with the door skin.

A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
A task that lubricates the latches and the hooks
(2)
A task you can use to drill rigging pin holes in the hook support fittings.

2. Lubricate the Latches and Hooks (Fig. 801)_______________________________
A. General
(1)
There can be times when the door will not latch electrically. Friction between the parts of the latch and hook mechanisms parts can cause this. This procedure lubricates these parts to allow the door to latch.
(2)
Adjust the latch and hook mechanism to allow normal operation when it is possible.
