Lubricate the hinge pins with grease.

Install the hinge pins in the hinge section.

Fay seal the hinge and the structure it will attach to.

Put the hinge section in its position, with the hinge pin and shims installed (View A-A and B-B, Fig. 401).
NOTE: This will align the holes in each hinge segment with the

mating holes in the door and fuselage.
Make sure the shims are installed in the same initial position.

Install the bolts.
(6)
Tighten the center hinge nuts 65 to 90 pound-inches.
(7)
Tighten the end hinge nuts 130 to 180 pound-inches.

CARGO DOOR SEQUENCE SWITCHES - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The first task is the removal of a sequence switch from the cargo door.
(2)
The second task is the installation of a sequence switch on the cargo door.
B.
The sequence switches on the cargo door are as follows:

The midspan latch open switches

The hook close switch

The master latch lock switch

The door close switch
-
The latch close switch

The hook position switch
-
The door up switch
C.
You can use this procedure for all types of sequence switches.
