Remove the solenoid as follows (Fig. 401):
(a)
Remove the electrical plug from the solenoid.
(b)
Disconnect the eyebolt from the door restraint arm.
(c)
Remove the bolts that hold the solenoid to the door frame.
(d)
Remove the solenoid.
NOTE: Examine the position of the solenoid for the correct

installation.

(5) Loosen the checknut and remove the eyebolt from the solenoid.
