(c) Paint the inside of the hole with primer.

Adjust the hook closed switch (AMM 52-34-00/501).

Adjust the Hook Position Switch.
(a)
Manually turn the hook actuator two turns counterclockwise.
NOTE:____This is the hooks rigged closed position. The rigging pin hole in the hook should align with the hole you put in the hook support fitting.
(b)
Turn the hook actuator 112 turns counterclockwise.
NOTE: For the aft door, between 110 and 112 turns
____
is satisfactory.
(c)
Make sure the clearance between the hook and the external stop is between 0.001 and 0.032 inches.
(d)
Turn the hook actuator clockwise until the hook touches the external stop.
(e)
Make sure the hook position switch operates at the correct time. 1) Turn the hook actuator 8.5 turns counterclockwise.
NOTE: The switch roller should be approximately in the
____ middle of the actuator ramp at this point.
2) Make sure there is continuity between pins 7 and 11 of connector P3 on the cargo door junction box.
NOTE: Before the switch operates, there is no continuity
____ between pins 7 and 11 of the P3 connector.

FORWARD/AFT CARGO DOOR - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General
_______
A. This procedure contains two tasks:
(1)
The first task is the removal of the forward/aft cargo door from the airplane.
(2)
The second task is the installation of a forward/aft cargo door on the airplane.
B.
You can install the door on its hinges with the airplane on its gear.
C.
You must connect the lift mechanism and adjust the forward cargo door with the airplane on its gear with the operating weight empty, or leveled on jacks.
