 (i)  For the aft cargo door, make sure the center-to-center length of the lower link is as shown (View C-C, Fig. 501). Adjust the length if it is necessary.
 NOTE:____ The lower link on the forward cargo door is not adjustable. On the aft cargo door, do not adjust the length after it is at the correct length.
 (j)  Remove the rig pin LCD-1(1) (aft cargo door).
 NOTE:____ Keep the rig pin LCD-1(2) installed.
 (k) (l)  Make sure you can install the rig pin LCD-1(3) in the lower idler bellcrank on the torque tube. 1) Adjust the lower link length if it is necessary (View A-A, Fig. 501).Remove the rig pin LCD-1(2).
 NOTE:____ Keep the rig pin LCD-1(3) installed.
 (m) (n)  Make sure you can install the rig pin LCD-1(4) in the upper idler bellcrank of the torque tube. 1) Adjust the lower pushrod length if it is necessary.Remove the rig pin LCD-1(3).
 NOTE:____ Keep the rig pin LCD-1(4) installed.
 (o) (p) (q)  Make sure the clearance between the bellcrank on the torque tube for the pressure relief door and the stop bolt is correct (View A-A, Fig. 501). 1) Adjust the upper pushrod if it is necessary.Hold the bellcrank on the torque tube for the pressure relief door with the clamps with the correct clearance between the bellcrank and the stop bolt.Remove the rig pin LCD-1(4).

Make sure you can connect the ends of the two pressure relief door pushrods to the bellcranks.
 NOTE: The bellcranks are on the torque tube for the pressure
____ relief door.
 1) Adjust the lengths of the pushrods if it is necessary.Remove the clamps from the two pressure relief doors and from bellcrank on the torque tube for the pressure relief door.
 NOTE: The pressure relief doors will open (0.50 inch
____ maximum) from the spring force you remove the clamps. This is the usual unpressurized condition.
Adjust the lower link for the torque tube until you can install
 the rig pin LCD-1(3) (View A-A, Fig. 501).
 1) Remove the rig pin.
Fully open the master latch lock handle.
 1) Make sure the pressure relief doors are fully open (View

 B-B, Fig. 501). If it is necessary, adjust the master latch lock handle stop (View A, Fig. 501).
 NOTE: If you cannot get the door open dimension shown in
____ View B-B, and the adjustments above are correct, you can decrease the dimension given in View B-B to 7.0 inches minimum.
 2)  Install self-locking nut to make sure there is contact between the rubber washers (Fig. 501, View A) and the door handle housing.
 NOTE:____The washers are a buffer when the door opens. The nut should still allow movement of the bolt when the washer stack is contacted by the handle in the open postion.
 3) Make sure that when the handle is in the open position. 4) Make sure all the lock sectors have retracted into the web of the lower beam.
 5)  Make sure the lock sectors have a clearance when the latches are rotated into the open position (View D-D, Fig. 501).
 6)  Make sure there is 0.15 inch between the latch cams and the lock sectors.
 7)  If there is not a minimum of 0.15 inch between the lock sectors and the latches, do one of the steps that follow:shorten the forward and aft lower link or remove the washers at the handle open stop on the forward and aft doors to get the clearance. a) Decrease the forward and aft lower link on the forward
 and aft doors to get the clearance.

 b) Remove the washers at the handle open stop on the forward and aft doors to get the clearance. 8) Make sure that the pressure relief doors do not open beyond the maximim dimension (Fig. 501 view B-B).
 (v)  Adjust the door warning and master latch lock switches.
