D. Procedure

(1)
Examine the door seal for damage or deterioration.
(a)
Repair the seal if it is necessary (AMM 52-09-00/801).

(2) Align the holes in the hinge fitting and the door rib (Detail A).
NOTE: There is a hole through the internal surface of the cargo
____ door below the pressure relief door. Get access to the outboard bolts through this hole.

Connect the control rod to the bellcrank (Detail A).

Align the outer contour of the pressure relief door with the outer contour of the cargo door (Section A-A).
(a)
Adjust the stop pins to align the doors with less than 0.03 inch between them.
(b)
Safety the stop pins with wire.

Push inboard on the pressure relief door, approximately 1.0 inch from the top, with the spring scale.
(a)
Make sure the door starts to open with a force between 12 and 16 pounds.
(b)
Make sure the door opens between 3 and 5 inches with a force between 15 and 20 pounds.
(6)
Install the lining on the top half of the door.
(7)
Install the shroud around the pressure relief door.
(8)
Install the junction box on the cargo door (AMM 52-34-05/401).
