(b)
Manually turn the door until the clearance between the stop lug and stop block (on the rotary actuator which touched its stop in the fully up position) is between 0.10 and 0.13 inch.
(c)
Adjust the switch in its mounting bracket until the switch operates.
NOTE:____ Make sure the switch keying washer and lockwasher are on
opposite sides of the switch mounting flange as shown.
Make sure the tang on the keying washer engages in the
detent in the mount flange.
You can do a switch operation electrically. Push the
red warning light on the cargo handling panel above the
cargo door when there is power. The switch has operated
when the red light flashes. Push the light again to
turn the light off.

(21)
Adjust the door warning switch (Fig. 505):
(a)
Make sure the door warning switch is installed as shown.
(b)
Make sure the master latch lock handle is in the closed position.
(c)
Turn the adjustment bolt until there is no continuity between pins 2 and 3 of the P3 connector on the cargo door junction box. Continue turning for 5|1/8 turns to push the switch plunger 0.156 inch more than the point of operation (switch overtravel).
NOTE: This adjustment includes sufficient switch overtravel to
____ prevent false warning indication during venting of the pressure relief doors.
S 825-053
(22)
Do the initial adjustment of the latch open switch (Fig. 505).
(a)
Open the door to get access to the switch.

CAUTION: USE A TORQUE WRENCH WITH A DIAL INDICATOR TO FIND WHEN THE
_______ INTERNAL STOPS TOUCH EACH OTHER (FIG. 502). TOO MUCH TORQUE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE STOPS.
(b)
Manually turn the latch actuator with a torque wrench in the open direction (counterclockwise) until the internal stops touch each other (Fig. 506).
(c)
Manually turn the latch actuator in the closed direction (clockwise) seven turns.
(d)
Adjust the latch open switch to close at this point.
(e)
Measure for continuity through switch S10 between pins 12 and 15 on connector P3.
NOTE: Manually turn the latch actuator in the open direction
____ (counterclockwise) when you measure the continuity through the switch.
This is the initial adjustment and can change when you do the operational test of the latch open switches.
S 715-045
(23) Do an operational test of the latch open switch:
CAUTION:_______IN CASE THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN, STOP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH. HOLDING THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH MAY DAMAGE THE ACTUATOR. WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE BEFORE SECOND ATTEMPT. IF THE DOOR STILL DOES NOT OPEN, WAIT AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD ATTEMPT.
(a) Fully close the door, then open it electrically to the free hang position.
NOTE:____You must open the door electrically. The latch position when the power goes off gives the correct switch adjustment.

(b)
Manually turn the latch actuator manual drive in the open direction (counterclockwise) with a torque wrench.
(c)
Carefully count the number of turns before the internal stops touch each other (Fig. 502).
(d)
Make sure there are 3 |1 turns before the internal stops touch each other.
(e)
If there are not 3 |1 turns before the internal stops touch each other, do this: 1) Adjust the latch open switch until there is 3 |1 turns
