CAUTION:_______IN CASE THE DOOR DOES NOT OPEN, STOP IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT OPERATE THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH. HOLDING THE DOOR CONTROL SWITCH MAY DAMAGE THE ACTUATOR. WAIT AT LEAST 1 MINUTE BEFORE SECOND ATTEMPT. IF THE DOOR STILL DOES NOT OPEN, WAIT AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THIRD ATTEMPT.

Open the door to the vertical position.

If you cannot open the door, do these steps:
(a)
With the hooks and latches closed, operate the master latch lock handle to release the latches and open the pressure relief doors.
(b)
Disconect the swivel clamp from the forward rotary actuator arm to loosen the conduit (Fig. 402).
(c)
For the forward actuator in the aft door, remove the fasteners and disconnect the two clamps to loosen the conduit (Fig. 402).
(d)
Disconnect the door lift links from the door support fittings.
NOTE:____Do not change the length of the door lift links. Note location of press-fit bushings at link disconnect points. These bushings are not part of linkage assembly and must be in place when reconnecting links.
