Procedure


 S 865-006
 (1)  
Supply electrical power (Ref 24-22-00/201).

 S 015-007

 (2)  
Remove the lining from the cargo door, ceiling and sidewall as it is necessary (Ref 25-52-01/401).

 (3)  
Adjust the master latch lock mechanism (Fig. 501):

 (a)  
Disconnect the lower ends of the two pressure relief door pushrods from the bellcranks on the torque tube.

 (b)  
Close the pressure relief doors to their faired position. 1) Make sure the pressure relief door skin is smooth with the cargo door skin +/- 0.03 inch.

 2)  Adjust the door closed stops on the two doors if it is necessary (View B-B, Fig. 501).

 (c)  
Hold the two pressure relief doors in their closed position with the clamps.

 (d)  
Close and latch the master latch lock handle.

 (e)  
For the forward cargo door, make sure the center-to-center length of the handle mechanism upper pushrod is as shown (View C-C, Fig. 501).

 (f)  
For the aft cargo door, make sure you can install the rig pin LCD-1(1) in the upper idler bellcrank of the handle mechanism.


 NOTE: If it is necessary to adjust the upper pushrod,
____
 keep the rig pin installed.

 1)  For the aft cargo door, set the lower link to a length of
 4.00 +/- 0.02 inches. This is a temporary length and may be revised, if required (Fig. 501 view C-C).
 2)  For the forward cargo door, disconnect the lower link which is attached to the lower idler bellcrank (Fig. 501 view C-C).

 (g)  For the aft door, make sure you can install the rig pin LCD-1(2) in the lower idler bellcrank of the handle mechanism.
 (h)  1) Adjust the lower pushrod's length if it is necessary.For the forward door, set the length of the aft lower link to 3.90 +/- 0.02 inches. 1) Insert rig pin through the aft lower idler bellcrank (Fig. 501 view C-C). 2) Adjust the forward lower pushrod to permit assembly with the forward lower idler bellcrank.
 NOTE:  The rig pin hole in the forward lower idler bellcrank should not be used.
