21) Push and hold the plunger of the Door Closed Switch.
22) See that the applicable caution message does not show on EICAS. a) DOOR FWD CARGO b) DOOR AFT CARGO
23) Release the plunger of the Door Warning Switch.
NOTE: This does a test of the door warning circuit.

24) See that the applicable caution message shows on EICAS. a) DOOR FWD CARGO b) DOOR AFT CARGO
25) Push and hold the plunger of the Door Warning Switch.
26) See that the applicable caution message does not show on EICAS. a) DOOR FWD CARGO b) DOOR AFT CARGO
27) Release the plungers of the Door Latched, the Door Closed and the Door Warning Switches.
CAUTION: YOU MUST PERMIT A ONE MINUTE TIME DELAY AFTER YOU OPEN OR
_______ CLOSE THE DOOR TO LET THE MOTOR TO COOL. DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR CAN OCCUR IF NO TIME DELAY IS PERMITTED.
(r)
Put the external control switch in the DOOR CLOSE position.
(s)
Make sure the door closes in less than 30 seconds.
(t)
Make sure the applicable caution message shows on the EICAS display: 1) DOOR FWD CARGO

Make sure the green LATCHES CLOSED light on the external door control panel is on.
(v)
Close the master latch lock handle.
(w)
Make sure the applicable caution message does not show on the EICAS display: 1) DOOR FWD CARGO 2) DOOR AFT CARGO.
(x)
Make sure the green LATCHES CLOSED light on the external door control panel is off.
(y)
Make sure the latch alignment arrows align with the latch alignment stripes.
(z)
Move the switch on the external door control panel to the DOOR
OPEN and the DOOR CLOSE position. (aa) Make sure the door does not operate. (ab) Push on the plunger on the top of the housing of the master
latch lock handle.
CAUTION: YOU MUST PERMIT A ONE MINUTE TIME DELAY AFTER YOU OPEN OR
_______ CLOSE THE DOOR TO LET THE MOTOR TO COOL. DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR CAN OCCUR IF NO TIME DELAY IS PERMITTED.
(ac) Put the inside door control switch in the DOOR OPEN position.
(ad) Make sure the door starts to open.
(ae) Release the inside door control switch when the door is open
approximately two feet.
CAUTION: YOU MUST PERMIT A ONE MINUTE TIME DELAY AFTER YOU OPEN OR
_______ CLOSE THE DOOR TO LET THE MOTOR TO COOL. DAMAGE TO THE MOTOR CAN OCCUR IF NO TIME DELAY IS PERMITTED.
(af) Put the inside door control switch in the DOOR CLOSE position.
(ag) Make sure the door is closed but not locked.
(ah) Make sure the applicable caution message shows on the EICAS

2) DOOR AFT CARGO. (ai) Make sure the green LATCHES CLOSED light on the external door
control panel is on. (aj) Close the master latch lock handle. (ak) Make sure the green LATCHES CLOSED light on the external door
control panel is off.
(al) Make sure the applicable caution message does not show on the EICAS display: 1) DOOR FWD CARGO 2) DOOR AFT CARGO.
(am) Remove the cover from the manual drive port of the latch actuator.
CAUTION: USE A TORQUE WRENCH WITH A DIAL INDICATOR TO FIND WHEN THE
_______ ACTUATOR MANUAL STOPS TOUCH EACH OTHER (FIG. 506). TOO MUCH TORQUE CAN CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE INTERNAL STOPS.
(an) Put a speed wrench in the manual drive socket and turn the actuator approximately 112 turns counterclockwise to the rigged open position.
