PRESSURE RELIEF DOOR - INSPECTION/CHECK

1. General_______
A. This procedure consists of illustrations and wear limit charts for the pressure relief door which is found on the lower lobe cargo door.
B. Wear on the inner surface of the shroud or penetrations through the shroud may occur if the pressure relief door stop fittings or stop bolts contact the shroud. Penetrations through the shroud must not exceed an area greater than 0.78 square inch (at each door stop location). This wear is acceptable. The wear will not affect the pressure relief door operation or function of the shroud.

Procedure
S 026-002
(1)
Remove the pressure relief door from the cargo door (Ref 52-34-04/401).
S 226-003
(2)
Do a check of the wear on the pressure relief door shaft and bushings (Fig. 601):
(a)
Measure the parts as necessary and compare the measured dimensions to the limit dimensions.
(b)
If the part is not in the permitted tolerance, replace or repair the part as necessary.
S 426-004
(3) Install the pressure relief door on the cargo door
(Ref 52-34-04/401).
