1. General_______
A. This procedure contains five tasks:
(1)
The removal of the master latch lock handle
(2)
The installation of the master latch lock handle
(3)
The adjustment of the master latch lock handle
(4)
Approved repairs for the master latch lock handle
(5)
An inspection/check of the master latch lock handle.

2. Remove the Master Latch Lock Handle (Fig. 201)___________________________________
A. General
(1)
This task refers to the master latch lock handle as "the handle".

(1)
Put the handle in the open position.
S 032-004
(2)
Disconnect the control rod from the crank (Detail A).
(3)
Remove the shaft from the handle (Detail B).

NOTE: Do not disconnect the crank from the shaft.

Remove the handle from the door.

(5)
If it is necessary, remove these parts from the handle (Details B and C):
(a)
Remove the rivet that goes through the driver and the handle (Detail B).
