The forward and aft cargo doors have two pressure relief doors in the top half. You can remove and install the pressure relief doors with the cargo door installed.

Thus is you do the task to remove the pressure relief door and the task to install the pressure relief door, then it is not necessary to do the task to do a check of the pressure relief door mechanism.

Remove the lining from the top half of the door.

Manually turn the latch actuator clockwise until the latches are closed (AMM 52-34-00/001).

Close the master latch lock handle.

Disconnect the control rod from the bellcrank (Detail A).

Remove the eight bolts that hold the hinge fittings to the door rib.
NOTE: There is a hole through the internal surface of the door
