The control rod from the left CLCP to the right spoiler differential mechanism 1) With rig pin A/S-2 installed, adjust the control rod until
 you can easily install rig pin A/S-5. 2) Tighten the checknuts on the control rod.The control rod between the autopilot actuator and the trim and feel mechanism 1) If you use the phase synchronous voltmeter, do the steps
 that follow:
 a) Connect the voltmeter to the autopilot actuator.
 b) With rig pin A/S-2 installed, adjust the control rod

 until the output voltage is 0.0 +/- 0.05 volts. c) Tighten the checknut on the control rod. d) Make sure the IN PHASE VOLTS reads 0.0 +/- 50 MV.

 length with the vernier adjustment until you can easily install the connecting bolt. 2) Make sure the vernier adjustment rod end and sleeve dimensions are not out of tolerance (Fig. 503, Detail A). 3) Install the bolts, nuts, washers, bushings, and cotter
 pins. 4) Tighten the checknuts. 5) Install the lockwire.The load limiter rod between the right input quadrant and the right aileron programmer. 1) With rig pins A/S-2, A/S-7 and A/S-1 installed (A/S-1 is in
 the load limiter drum Fig. 502), adjust the right body cable, with the tension in the limits shown in Fig. 501, until you can easily install the load limiter rod connecting bolt.
 2) Make sure you do not preload the rod.
The rod between the right input quadrant and the left CLCP
 (left autopilot) which is located in the right wheel well:
 1) With rig pins A/S-2 and A/S-7 installed, adjust the rod

 until you can easily install rig pin A/S-3. 2) Tighten the checknuts on the rod.
