4) Measure the voltage across the pins 4 and 5 of the transmitter connector using the phase angle voltmeter. 5) Loosen the clamping bolt until the transmitter rotates freely. 6) Rotate the transmitter body to get a null signal voltage
tolerance of less than 50 millivolts. 7) Tighten the clamping bolt. 8) Make sure that the null voltage stays at less than 50
millivolts and has not changed. 9) Disconnect the power supply of the Syncro Breakout Box and
the Phase Angle Voltmeter from the airplane wiring. 10) Connect the transmitter connector to the airplane wiring. 11) Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tag and close the 6J22 circuit
breaker on the P6 panel for the Control Wheel Position Transmitter. 12) Remove the straight edge from the control wheels.
F. Do a Check of the Transmitter Assembly

(1)
Examine the movement of the transmitter assembly:
(a)
Install the control wheel protractor.
(b)
Turn the captain's control wheel counterclockwise to the stop.
(c)
Make sure the control wheel protractor shows a minimum of 88.5 degrees.
(d)
Make sure that the WHEEL indication is in +/- 4 degrees of the wheel position.
(e)
Turn the captain's control wheel clockwise to the stop.
(f)
Make sure the control wheel protractor shows a minimum of 88.5 degrees.
(g)
Make sure that the WHEEL indication is in +/- 4 degrees of the wheel position.
(h)
Move the control wheel to the neutral position.
(i)
Remove the control wheel protractor.
(2)
Remove hydraulic power (AMM 29-11-00/201).

(3) S 414-222Install the ceiling lining panel that you removed (AMM 25-59-01/401).
(4) S 864-004Remove electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

RUDDER PEDAL POSITION TRANSMITTER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. General_______
A. This procedure has two tasks, one for the removal and one for the installation of the rudder pedal position transmitter (which is referred to as the "transmitter"). The procedure has these parts:

The removal of the transmitter
(2)
The installation of the transmitter
(3)
An adjustment of the transmitter
(4)
An operational test of the transmitter.

Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
(a)
P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6J22 COL/RUD PEDAL SENSOR
2) 6J23 COL/RUD PEDAL IND

(2) Do this task to remove the right main deck ceiling panel at station
243: "Remove the Zone A Center Trough" (Ref 25-22-01/401).
