(2) S 865-081Turn the control wheel to the neutral position.
(3) S 485-082Install rig pins A/S-8 and A/S-9 in the inboard aileron control quadrants (Fig. 504).
(4) S 495-083If you use the inboard aileron rigging straightedge, install the tool as follows: (a) Align the tool at the centerline of the inboard primary hinge.
(5) S 495-084If you use the rigging beam, install the tool as follows: (a) Open the access panels (573AB, left; 673AB, right) (Ref 06-09-08/201). (b) Hold the rigging beam manually at WBL 461.5 below the aileron and the wing.
(6) S 225-199With hydraulic power on and ailerons at neutral, make sure the permitted mismatch between the aileron trailing edge and the lower surface of the wing trailing edge is not out of tolerance (Fig. 505).
(7) S 835-085If the permitted mismatch is out of tolerance, adjust the input control rod between the control quadrant and the power package to get the mismatch in tolerance.
(8) S 085-086Remove all the rig pins.
(9) S 715-087Operate the ailerons for a minimum of two full cycles. (a) Make sure the ailerons align with the lower surface of the wing trailing edge (Fig. 505).
