 (5)  S 832-055Set the aileron trim system at the center to keep the aileron at the neutral position: (a) Operate the trim switches and move the control wheel until you can easily install rig pin A/S-2.

 E. Procedure
 S 022-014
 (1) Remove the central lateral control package (CLCP) (Fig. 201):
 NOTE: You can remove the section of the APU pneumatic duct
____ that is in your way for ease access to the CLCP.
 (a)  
Disconnect the upper piston clevis from the spoiler differential mechanism.

 (b)  
Disconnect the lower piston clevis from the rod to the aileron programmer.

 (c)  
When you remove the left CLCP (left autopilot), located in the right wheel well, continue as follows: 1) Remove rig pin A/S-2. 2) Turn the control wheel clockwise until the actuator piston

 clevis bolt is clear of the programmer. 3) Remove the bolt. 4) Turn the control wheel counterclockwise. 5) Install rig pin A/S-2.

 (d)  
Disconnect the control rod from the actuator input lever.

 (e)  
Disconnect the load limiter rod between the right and left CLCPs.

 (f)  
Disconnect the electrical connectors DB7084 (CLCP-left autopilot) and DB7086 (CLCP-right autopilot).

 (g)  
With the removal of pressure in the hydraulic system, operate the CLCP input lever to fully bleed the system.

 (h)  
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the CLCP pressure and return ports.

 (i)  
Install caps on the disconnected hoses and the CLCP ports.

 (j)  
Use a hoist and a strap to remove the mounting bolts and the CLCP.
