Remove the parts to be examined from the trim actuator.

 (b)  
Measure the dimensions of these parts.

 (c)  
Compare the part dimensions to the limit dimensions.

 (d)  
If the part dimension is out of tolerance, replace the part.

 (e)  
Install all the parts removed to do the inspection/check.

 (3)  Install the aileron trim actuator and the trim and feel mechanism (Refer to par. 2 through 5).

 INBOARD AILERON VERTICAL REACTION LINK - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

 1.  General_______
 A.  There are two tasks in this procedure. There is one task for the removal and one task for the installation of the inboard aileron vertical reaction link (referred to as the "vertical reaction link"). The procedure has these parts:
 (1)  
The installation of door locks on the doors for the main landing gear

 (2)  
The removal of the vertical reaction link

 (3)  
The installation of the vertical reaction link

 (4)  
The adjustment of the vertical reaction link

 (5)  
The operational test of the vertical reaction link.

 B.  
The vertical reaction link is one of the two primary components of the vertical reaction link assembly. Two pins attach the vertical reaction link to the wing structure. While the link is free to turn on the pins, only the vertical forces have an effect on the link. These forces are the result of airloads on the aileron when it moves.
