Install the Transmitter

Make sure that the rudder pedals are in the neutral position.

Install the transmitter:
(a)
Put the position transmitter in the clamping bracket.
(b)
Line up the "T" mark on the transmitter shaft with the clamping bracket and the "EZ" mark on the transmitter body (Fig. 401).
(c)
Install the clamping bolts and nuts.
(d)
Tighten the clamping bolts and nuts.
(e)
Connect the electrical connector.
(f)
Install the wire clamp to the transmitter.

E. Adjust the Transmitter

Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (Ref 24-22-00/201).
(a)
Install the rig pin R-5 and rig pin R-3 at the same time and make sure they can be installed freely (Fig. 401).
NOTE: On some airplanes, a 3/16 inches pin is required for
____ rig pin R-5. On other airplanes, a 5/16 inches pin is required for rig pin R-5. For 3/16 inches pin, use G12001-6. For 5/16 inches pin, use G12001-14.
