 B.  There are four PSM's installed in the main equipment center. In this procedure you will remove power from the PSM, remove the PSM, install a replacement PSM, and do a check for PSM faults with the central maintenance computer system (CMCS).

Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Do a check for existing faults of the PSM:

 (a)  
Push the key for EXISTING FAULTS on the CMC main menu.

 (b)  
If <27 FCE-PSM/SPD shows on the CDU, make sure there are no PSM FAIL or PSM INVALID messages that show on the CMCS.

 NOTE: If the <27 FCE-PSM/SPD message does not show, the PSM

 operates satisfactorily.

 (3) Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (AMM 24-22-00/201).
