 (a)  
Turn the captain's control wheel counterclockwise. 1) Make sure the control wheel can move freely. 2) Make sure the captain's and first officer's control wheels

 move through full travel. 3) Make sure the left inboard aileron moves up and the right inboard aileron moves down.

 (b)  
Turn the captain's control wheel clockwise. 1) Make sure the control wheel can move freely. 2) Make sure the captain's and first officer's control wheels

 move through full travel. 3) Make sure the right inboard aileron moves up and the left inboard aileron moves down.

 (c)  
Move the control wheels back to the neutral positions.

 (d)  
Do a check at the centerline of the inboard primary hinge:


 1)  Make sure the inboard ailerons approximately align with the lower surface extension of the wing trailing edge.

Do a test of the outboard aileron operation:

 (a)  
Do a check with the leading edge group "A" flaps fully retracted: 1) Make sure the outboard ailerons move to the correct


 position in relation to the movement of the control wheels.
 WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF THE LE
_______ AND TE FLAPS AND FLAP DRIVE MECHANISMS BEFORE YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. WITH HYDRAULIC POWER REMOVED, THE FLAPS WILL MOVE AUTOMATICALLY BY ELECTRICAL POWER WHEN YOU MOVE THE FLAP CONTROL LEVER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (b)  
Move the flap control lever to the 1-unit detent position to extend the leading edge group "A" flaps.

 (c)  
Turn the captain's control wheel counterclockwise.
 1) Make sure the control wheel can move freely.

Turn the captain's control wheel clockwise. 1) Make sure the control wheel can move freely. 2) Make sure the captain's and first officer's control wheels

 move through full travel. 3) Make sure the right outboard aileron moves up and the left outboard aileron moves down.

 (e)  
Move the control wheels back to the neutral position.

 (f)  
Do a check at the inboard end of the aileron.

 1)  Make sure the outboard ailerons align approximately 0.50 inch below the trailing edge flaps.

 (g)  
Move the flap control lever to full UP position to retract the leading edge group "A" flaps.

 (h)  
Make sure the outboard ailerons move to the correct position in relation to the movement of the control wheels.

 D.  
Do a Test of the Aileron Operation with One Hydraulic Power Source

 (1)  
Supply system No. 4 hydraulic power. Remove systems No. 1, 2 and 3 hydraulic power (Ref 29-11-00/201).

 (a)  
Move the flap control lever to the 5 unit detent to extend the outboard flaps.

 (b)  
Slowly and fully turn the control wheel clockwise.

 (c)  
Slowly and fully turn the control wheel counterclockwise.

 (d)  
Make sure the right inboard aileron and the right outboard aileron operate through full travel.

 (2)  
Supply system No. 2 hydraulic power. Remove system No. 4 hydraulic power (Ref 29-11-00/201).

 (a)  
Slowly and fully turn the control wheel clockwise.

 (b)  
Slowly and fully turn the control wheel counterclockwise.

 (c)  
Make sure the left outboard aileron and the right inboard aileron operate through full travel.

 (3)  
Supply system No. 3 hydraulic power. Remove system No. 2 hydraulic power (Ref 29-11-00/201).

 (a)  
Slowly and fully turn the control wheel clockwise.

 (b)  
Slowly and fully turn the control wheel counterclockwise.

 (c)  
Make sure the left inboard aileron and the right outboard aileron operate through full travel.
