CAUTION: BE CAREFUL NOT TO CHANGE THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE INPUT
_______ CONTROL ROD. IF THERE IS A CHANGE, A CHECK OF THE AILERON ADJUSTMENT IS THEN NECESSARY TO PREVENT POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
(a)
Disconnect the summing lever (10) from the input control rod (7).
(b)
Move the outboard aileron to the down position.
(c)
Disconnect the hydraulic hoses from the power control package (1).
(d)
Install the caps on open lines and ports.
(e)
Disconnect the actuator piston (18) from the aileron (section A-A).
(f)
Remove the antirotation plate (22) from the actuator rod end bolt (Section A-A).
(g)
Use the applicable hoist and sling assembly to hold the power control package (1).
(h)
Remove the bolts (17) that attach the power control package (1) to the wing structure (4).
(i)
Move the power control package (1) up and aft to move it around the wing structure (4) and the aileron (11).

(2)
Install the outboard aileron lock to prevent wind damage if the airplane is not in the hangar.
(a)
Attach the lock at the hard points on the wing and the aileron structure.
