Disconnect the electrical connector from the transmitter.
(c)
Remove the clamping bolts and nuts.
(d)
Remove the position transmitter.

Install the Transmitter Assembly

(1)
Install the position transmitter (Fig. 401):
(a)
Make sure the control wheels are in the neutral postion.
(b)
Put the position transmitter in the clamping bracket.
(c)
Line up the "T" mark on the shaft end of the transmitter with the slot on the bracket.
(d)
Line up the "EZ" mark on the transmitter with the mark on the clamping bracket.
(e)
Install the clamping bolts and the nuts.
(f)
Tighten the clamping bolts and the nuts.
(g)
Connect the electrical connector to the transmitter.
(h)
Install the wire clamp to the transmitter.

Remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:
(a)
P6, Main Power Distribution Panel
1) 6J23, COL/RUD PEDAL IND
2) 6J22, COL/RUD PEDAL SENSOR

Adjust the Transmitter Assembly

(1) Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

WARNING: MAKE SURE THAT PERSONS AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL
_______ SURFACES BEFORE YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. AILERONS, RUDDERS, ELEVATORS, FLAPS, SPOILERS, LANDING GEAR, AND THRUST REVERSERS CAN MOVE QUICKLY WHEN YOU SUPPLY HYDRAULIC POWER. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.

Adjust the transmitter assembly:
(a)
Put the control wheels in the neutral position and clamp a straight edge in place.
(b)
Do the following to adjust the Control Wheel Position Transmitter: 1) Open the circuit breaker 6J22 on the P6 panel for the
Control Wheel Position Transmitter and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag. 2) Attach a power supply or a Syncro Breakout Box and Phase Angle Voltmeter to the transmitter connector. 3) Apply a 26 VAC, 400 Hz across the pins 1 and 2 of the transmitter connector.
NOTE: If airplane power is used, close the 6J22 circuit
____ breaker on the P6 panel for the Control Wheel Position Transmitter.
