Set the trim system at the center to keep the aileron at the neutral position:
(a)
Operate the trim switches until you can easily install rig pin A/S-2.
(b)
Do not remove rig pin A/S-2.

Remove the CLCP filter (Fig. 201):
(a)
Put a container below the CLCP to catch fluid leakage.
(b)
Remove the filter cover.
(c)
Remove the filter from the CLCP.

(1)
Install the central lateral control package (CLCP) filter
(Fig. 201):
(a)
Lubricate the backup rings, packings and threads of the fitting with assembly lube or hydraulic fluid.
(b)
Install new backup rings and packing on the CLCP filter.
(c)
Install the filter cover.
(d)
Install the filter into the housing.
(e)
Tighten the filter cover to 85-115 pound-inches.
(f)
Install the lockwire.

Do this task: "Supply Electrical Power" (AMM 24-22-00/201).

For the applicable system, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers:

Do this task to pressurize hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 or 2 and 3: "Hydraulic System Pressurization" (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Examine the filter cover for leakage after you operate the aileron through a minimum of two full cycles.

Put the Airplane Back to its Usual Condition
