Install the cotter pin.

Connect the input control rod to the quadrant with the nut, bolt and washer.

Install the cotter pin.

 (f)  
Attach the cables to the quadrant.

 (g)  
Install the cotter pins.

 NOTE: No. 1 or 3 hydraulic systems supply the left control package.

 (3)  S 864-010Do this task:  "Supply Electrical Power" (Ref 24-22-00/201).
 (4)  S 834-011Adjust the aileron control and trim system: (a) Manually move the captain's and the first officer's control wheels to the neutral position. (b) Operate the trim system switches and move the control wheel until you can easily install rig pin A/S-2 (Fig. 401).
 NOTE:____ Rig pin A/S-2 must stay in its hole to keep the trim system at the center for the subsequent adjustment.
 (c) (d) (e) (f) (g) (h) (i) (j)  With a clamp, attach the control wheel straightedge across the thumbrests on the captain's and first officer's control wheels.Make sure you can easily install rig pin A/S-6 (A/S-7 right).Tighten the cables to the specified tension range (Fig. 401).Make sure you can easily install rig pin A/S-8 (A/S-9 right).Install the clip locks on the turnbuckles.Remove all the rig pins.Align the inboard aileron rigging straightedge to the centerline of the inboard primary hinge.Make sure the inboard aileron aligns with the trailing edge.
 NOTE:____ The permitted tolerance is less than 0.25 inch.
 (k)  1) If the inboard aileron does not align with the trailing edge, adjust the input control rod.Remove the straightedges from the wing and the control wheels.
 (5)  S 714-018Turn the captain's control wheel full left and then full right. (a) Make sure the aileron moves through full travel in each direction.
 (6)  S 224-013Make sure the inboard aileron is not out of tolerance.

_______ DOOR LOCKS FROM THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
