A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Make sure that the aircraft is in the same configuration as for the removal task.
(2)
Clean the support struts (1) and the mating surfaces with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003).

Make sure that the parts retained from the removed component are clean and in the correct condition.

Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.

A. Preparation for Installation:
(1) Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-005) to:
(a)
The contact surfaces of the support struts (1).
(b)
The threads of the screws (3) and the bolts (4).

B. Installation of the Support Struts:
(1)
Put the support struts (1) in position.
(2)
Install the new screws (3), the new bolts (4) and bolts (4), the new nuts (5) and the new washers (6).
(3)
Put the support struts (2) in position.
(4)
Install the quick release pins (7).
(5)
Seal all the bolt heads, the nuts and the attachment area of the support struts with SEALANTS (Material No. 09-005).
(6)
Install any attach items removed from the support struts.
5. Close-up

A. Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(1)
Install the left sidewall linings (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-400-003).
(2)
Install the partition panels 161DW, 162DW at FR65 (Ref. TASK 25-55-12-400-001).
(3)
Remove the access platform(s).
(4)
Close the AFT cargo-compartment door. (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
(5)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.
