A. Preparation for Installation:
(1) Clean the mating surfaces of the fairing with a nonmetallic scraper, CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-003) and a lint-free cloth.

SPECIAL MATERIAL.
THIS MATERIAL IS DANGEROUS.
WARNING : USE SOLVENTS/CLEANING AGENTS, SEALANTS AND OTHER SPECIAL
_______ MATERIALS ONLY WITH A GOOD SUPPLY OF AIR. OBEY THE MANUFACTURERS INSTRUCTIONS. PUT ON PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. DO NOT GET THEM IN YOUR MOUTH. DO NOT SMOKE. DO NOT BREATHE THE GAS. THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT. GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
(2)
Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3)
Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(4)
Apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-018) to the fairing interface and the screws (1).

B. Installation:
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Put the fairing (2) in position. CAUTION : DO NOT CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE SURFACES. THE COMPONENTS ARE
_______ MADE OF CARBONFIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC.
(3)
Install the screws (1).
5. Close-up

A. Close Access
(1)
Install the lower trimmable horizontal-stabilizer aprons (Ref. TASK 55-15-11-400-001).
(2)
Remove the access platform(s).
(3)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(4)
Remove the ground support and maintenance equipment, the special and standard tools and all other items.

B. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 5CC1, 5CC2, 14CC1, 14CC2, 15CC, 15CE1, 15CE2, 16CE1, 16CE2, 19CE1, 19CE2, 19CE3, 21CE1, 21CE2, 21CE3, 22CE.

Fittings make it possible to attach components to the structure, and to attach the tailcone to the cone/rear fuselage.

3. Description___________
A. The Cone/Rear Fuselage Fittings The fittings which are installed on the cone/rear fuselage are made of forged aluminum alloy.
B. The Vertical Stabilizer Fittings The fittings for the vertical stabilizer are part of the FR70, FR72 and FR74.
C. The Horizontal Stabilizer Fittings The fittings for the horizontal stabilizer are installed on FR77 and are removable.
D. The Tailcone Atachment Fittings The fittings for the attachment of the tailcone are part of the FR77.
