 A. Get Access
 (1)
 Remove the right upper sidewall panels 252PW, 252LW, 252HW (Ref. TASK 25-23-43-000-001) and the right lower sidewall panels 252NW, 252KW (Ref. TASK 25-23-44-000-001).
 (2)
 Remove the insulation blankets from the inspection area (Ref. TASK 25-80-00-000-001).
 NOTE : Identify the insulation blankets for installation.

 (3) If necessary, remove the air distribution riser-ducts to get access to the inspection areas at FR54 and FR56 (Ref. TASK 21-20-00-010-001).

 B. Preparation of the Inspection Areas
 (Ref. Fig. 610/TASK 53-41-00-991-013)
 (1) Make sure that the surfaces of the inspection areas are clean and smooth.

_______ AREA WHEN YOU USE SPECIAL MATERIALS. IF YOU GET ONE OF THESE MATERIALS ON YOUR SKIN, IN YOUR MOUTH OR IN YOUR EYES : -FLUSH IT AWAY WITH A FLOW OF CLEAN WATER FOR BETWEEN 10 AND 15 MINUTES. -GET IMMEDIATE MEDICAL AID IF IRRITATION OCCURS. DO NOT BREATHE THE FUMES FROM THE MATERIAL. DO NOT SMOKE WHEN YOU USE THE MATERIAL. DO NOT USE THE MATERIAL NEAR A FLAME, SPARKS OR SOURCES OF HEAT. THESE MATERIALS ARE DANGEROUS : THEY ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANTS.
 (2)
 If necessary, clean the inspection areas with the CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003). Make sure the inspection areas are dry before you continue.
 (3)
 If necessary, make the surface of the inspection areas smooth with the abrasive cloth, grade 280.
 (4)
 Do a visual inspection of the inspection areas. Look for damage and defects in the shape of the external surface.
 (5)
 If you find damage :
 (a)
 Refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-11-00-001) for the classification of the damage.
 (b)
 If you find corrosion damage:
 -
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-22-00-001) for the general corrosion data
 -
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-74-00-001) for the repair of the corroded areas.
 (c)
 If you find other types of damage:
 -Refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-73-00-001) for the repair of the minor damage.

 A. Special Detailed Inspection Procedure
 (1)
 Do the special detailed inspection of the frame splices at FR53 thru FR56, above the STGR18 RH (Ref. NTM 534106-Part.4).
 (2)
 Write a report if you find damage during the inspection procedure.
 (3)
 If you find damage:
 (a)
 Refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-11-00-001) for the classification of the damage.
 (b)
 If you find corrosion damage:
 -
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-22-00-001) for the general corrosion data
 -
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-74-00-001) for the repair of the corroded areas.
 (c)
 If you find other types of damage:
 -
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 51-73-00-001) for the repair of the minor damage
 -
refer to the ASRM (Ref. ASRM 53-00-12-201) for the correct repair procedure.
